Fees

My rates are as follows:

$700.00 for a two-hour mediation session where there are briefs and documents to review, or
$600.00 for a two-hour mediation session when there are no documents to review.
I strongly urge the parties to submit briefs and supporting documents such as medical records, property damage photos, witness statements and police reports. With bodily injury matters these documents are crucial for an effective/successful mediation.
Also, it is cost effective to pay $100.00 ($50.00 per party) for document review in advance rather than my reviewing the documents for the first time at the mediation as it (a) allows for more mediation time, and (b) is more cost efficient than my reviewing these documents during my $300.00 per hour mediation session rate.

The above listed fees are per mediation session, not per party.

All fees are to be paid in advance; however, when the mediation runs long, I will invoice the parties according to the fee structure listed below.

When the mediation goes beyond two hours, I charge $300.00 per hour, billed in half hour increments. I strongly recommend not rushing a mediation and will gladly mediate for however long the parties desire. I shall happily participate in an all-day mediation.
For the eight surrounding counties I charge $50.00 per hours travel time, with no charge for gas.
